Our Awesome Daycare

CCS is the perfect place where your children will play and learn!.

Infants are unique and have their own patterns for play, feeding and sleeping. We use these patterns as our guide to introduce daily activities that will prepare your infant for life. Our highly trained teachers and staff offer a nurturing and creative environment for infants to develop their bodies and minds. We are committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for you and your child.

Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor and social skills. They turn ideas into words and phrases to better express themselves, and practice the value of sharing and cooperating through group play. Children at this stage start to develop friendships and gain confidence as they use their words and thoughts to interact with others. It is important for children to express themselves creatively and, through our Toddler program, we encourage all children to develop their unique skills and interests.

A preschooler's world opens up in new ways as children improve coordination, learn complex games, and begin to interact more with others. Children learn by doing, and at Columbus Christian School, your preschooler will strengthen his or her cognitive skills with plenty of hands-on activities. Our caring, experienced teachers are dedicated to providing a rich, nurturing environment that will prepare your child for kindergarten. We promote independence in an organized atmosphere, as it is increasingly important for children to be their own thinkers. We also teach children to work well within a group through listening, sharing and cooperation.

After School

CCS' innovative after-school program was developed to meet the growing educational needs of children. They get to spend time with friends and enjoy activities that are relevant to school-age interests. Our school-age program also aligns with school calendars to provide a fun-filled (and educational!) offering during holidays, teacher in-service days and other school breaks.
